To All,
I'm stealing some time to update you on what's happening right now. Basically, for what appear, in this instance, to be, presumptively, valid medical reasons, Windhaven has fallen drastically far behind where they were supposed to be by this point. I've attached the latest estimated schedule they've sent--though it should be noted that, particularly for the latter half of the listed titles, the dates should be treated as largely fictional. Since this was sent, the final version of To Sail Beyond the Sunset has been prepped, the second pass of Podkayne is being reviewed, and the final pass of Expanded Universe is also being reviewed--we had prior electronic files for Expanded Universe available and, having reflowed those to the VE format, chose to go with only a single proofreading pass; if it comes back and appears to be troublingly full of problems, I'll have another pass scheduled.
At this point, given the history of such scheduling issues, we are not confident in Windhaven's ability to complete this project in a reasonable and timely manner and are seeing to what extent we can reasonably work with Windhaven while soliciting bids from others to have this work done.
